Case Study – HR Fundamentals
Agno Dental & Aesthetics based in Rickmansworth approached SYLO Associates to support their ad hoc HR activity. A growing business they wanted support to help with “people” compliance and employment contracts.
Initially we were tasked with reviewing and updating their Contract of Employment and Contract for Services; then we needed to implement an appropriate on-going support solution.
Following an initial communication about the project we engaged in a period of consultation and discussion with their Employees and Self-employed Associates to review and deliver updated and compliant sets of Contracts of Employment and Contracts for Services – entirely appropriate for their dental practice. Critical to the success of this exercise was the active engagement of all participants and our ability to respond quickly and succinctly to any questions raised. Following discussion we agreed that regular telephone and email access would be most appropriate with the possibility of onsite presence if required.
Introduction of fully compliant Contracts of Employment and Contracts for Services. This then led to us providing retained HR Support with ongoing support by phone & email to respond to adhoc HR queries as they arise.
This arrangement has been in place now for two years; during that time we have provided advice and guidance to support the handling of employee relations queries, recruitment & retention, capability and performance issues.
