GDPR Seminar Feedback

With GDPR increasingly in the news, SYLO Associates held this GDPR seminar, “How ready for GDPR is Your Business?”, to give local businesses an informative guide to becoming GDPR compliant.

Attended by over 30 different businesses, from IT to Event Management, everyone went away feeling clearer on what they need to do prior to the May 25th implementation date.

Kellie Peters – Database Rockstar and Chief Executive of Databasix UK Ltd pitched the presentation perfectly, being informative whilst not scaremongering.

It was so popular we ran a second seminar in April, which was just as well attended. We will be running a further workshop after the 25th May and if you are interested in attending, or need some guidance before then email us now.

Feedback from the seminar has been positive:

“Thank you for providing an interesting and informative session this morning” Hugh Taylor – Managing Director Slurp

“Thank you so much for this morning – it was such a valuable session and very professionally delivered! My mind is buzzing now with lots of things to do for myself and my clients so thank you! It is such a mine-field with so many different thought processes on all the sectors we work in but at least we have try and tackle it rather than ignore it we should be in a good place! Thanks again for the helpful start!” – Liz Franklin, Liz Franklin Event Management

“Thank you for this morning we found it very informative, Patsy and I will be looking into this to see how it will affect us.” Karen Clark – Thame Barns Centre

“Thank you for this great opportunity to gain valuable insight into the upcoming GDPR. I found the session very useful and have already started to get the ball rolling. Thank you to everyone involved.” – Michelle Hunt – ALR Services Ltd

“Thank you SYLO Associates for organising a very informative seminar. Although I cannot profess to understand it all as there are so many connotations, I am at least now more aware so will be thinking about how I can take some of  Kellie’s advice further and tackle it a bit at a time. We are a small company but I can see there are still measures we need to take.” – Jo Horne, Sound4Vision
